Our Handicapping Review of Winning Edge

What to expect: This handicapping site might remind the reader of a late night infomercial. The site is easy to read and scan, however the first thing a reader will probably notice when visiting the homepage is a link to purchase the handicapping content before seeing any free content or historical track record. Also, the site heavily promotes itself with banner ads touting its ability to deliver content to your phone or through a weekly free newsletter. The free content is not very accessible, and you need to provide an email address to access it. After some searching, though, you can get brief free excerpts on the handicapper’s free picks, but it is pretty generic and based on widely available public information. This site, though, does a good job of highlighting the actual handicappers and what their expertise is. Also, the handicappers are very transparent about the pricing of the paid content, though they seem to be premium priced and there are no historical reports to analyze before purchasing. You can purchase reports for specific games you are interested in. This site does not provide annual memberships for unlimited access, and a user has to buy the reports a la carte from each specific handicapper based on the games desired. At this time we are just not comfortable with this handicapping service despite Wayne Root being a long time veteran in sports handicapping.

total garbage. picks suck, terrible customer service and they try to scam you to buy all these made up club games that suck even bigger balls. I hope he gets put in jail.

I won’t be using this guy anymore. His picks have started to lose me money. I told some friends about him at first, but now we have all lose money. The customer service is okay, it could definitely be better.

Steer clear of these guys. If you buy a package you have the option of logging in online and viewing your picks. However they will mysteriously disappear and you will be forced to call. You will then be asked every single day about upgrading for the “Premium Picks” and promised to never be asked again to upgrade but that’s a lie. I was told two times to upgrade because they had a game that was “guaranteed” to win. I did (stupid me) and both games lost outright. I used this service for multiple months and the overall record hovered around 50%. That doesn’t put money in your pocket or even pays for the service! Never going back. This service is one of the biggest crooks out there. They own another scam website. I would stay away from this service because they will continue to ask you for money as they lose every pick. I am asking the owner to blacklist them as they are nothing but conmen.

He and all his handicappers are scam artists. You sign up but then you get constant phone calls urging you to move up to “premier” status. This costs ten times what you agreed on and then when you do what they ask they are 1 -5 on you! Step away from these guys.
