Our Handicapping Review of The Sports Geek

What to expect: Unlike other sports handicapping websites, this site resembles more a blog that focuses on sports picks and generates its income from advertisements. Specifically, the site provides handicapping analysis on specific games (not all games and not all sports) depending on what the author decided to write and also provides basic content for the beginning sports bettor (e.g. how to bet future, how to bet games, what odds mean, etc.). The content is somewhat unique in that the author publishes his thesis on how to properly bet on sports and how to shop for the best betting lines, but not necessarily the type of content you find on other websites. What is different about this site, in addition to apparently being sustained by advertisements, is the appearance that the site is supported by the online bookmakers as well. The site directly links to the bookmaking sites and displays the line odds in real time on a specific page. It is prominently displayed on the front page who the major sports books are and how to “easily” place a bet on their respective sites. Overall, while the site is not a traditional sports handicapper (as it provides all free content and is not comprehensive), the site is a good starting point for free content to compare with other content acquired.

Forget this clown, just another parasite in the gambling world. Fade the picks though, good way to make money.

These guys picks suck hands down.. They know nothing about sports and make horrible picks… Every time I click on there email with a update of last nights picks, there always on the losing end. 6 out of the 7 days of the week.. Please don’t invest your money with these clowns… I’m pretty sure they never played sports so they don’t understand the dynamics…

When I first came upon sports geek YouTube videos and seen him winning so much money I thought the guy was legit. So I decided to follow him and use his suggested daily fantasy sports picks and techniques but all of the picks he suggests are almost always horrible. But yet he makes endless YouTube videos showing him winning hundreds and thousands of dollars and of course using mostly different players than he originally suggested seemingly on purpose. Which goes back to only trusting no one but yourself. Of course there is no way to prove that he actually prove that he won thousands of dollars playing daily fantasy spoets other than watching it on YouTube or screen shots.

This guy is no good. I have been with him for two weeks and have lost money both weeks. The website and service are awful as well.
Dale Gray – July 28, 2014
My guy is okay. I’ve earned a little bit of money in the past two weeks and it isn’t costing me anything.
