Dr Bob Sports Company Description: …My most recent math model for college football, which debuted in 2004, has been incredibly successful and led to an article in the Wall Street Journal, appearances on CNBC, and a story about my service on ESPN’s E:60 magazine show. That extra attention makes it a bit more challenging to stay ahead of the odds makers, who are now fully aware of me and my plays, but I will continue to adjust my models. Their line-setting methods have caught up to about where I was in 2003, but I have several factors of analysis that I do not think that the odds makers have considered yet. Furthermore, the lines are heavily influenced by public opinion, which is frequently off-base, and that makes my job much easier. My handicapping philosophy is now based more on my math models than on the technical analysis, because the math models have been so good, but I still use a combination of factors to come up with my Best Bets….

What to expect: Bob Stoll offers good but costly insights. He has a variety of season long packages that cost one to two thousand dollars. If you are managing a large investment he could be a good option but if you aren’t it will be very tough to win enough to cover the cost of these picks. He is open about his past performances so you can evaluate him for yourself. Unfortunately his winning percentage has dropped the last few years. Overall we are comfortable with this sports handicapper. We have seen some good picks come from Dr Bob and have heard good things from other sports gamblers that use this service. He is well respected amongst his peers.

Poor customer service. Charges a lot for his service. To make a small profit, you would need to invest long term in a package that would cost over a $1000. At that rate, you would need the bankroll to bet a lot per unit to make a small profit.

He is usually pretty knowledgeable about sports teams. In the past his picks have been pretty accurate. He follows college football, basketball and NBA teams. He has had a run of bad luck. I am sure he will do better in the future.

Can’t find a better service. Pay him up and get your wins. It’s not the cheapest service, but you get what you pay for with them. Great numbers, wins, and the customer service is pretty good too. Talked to the owner, and he seems like a pretty good guy.

Their customer service is great! I can’t speak highly enough about the company. The money you spend is well worth the value you will be getting. I’ve always had good things to say after speaking with the customer service reps. Love them!

While Dr. Bob is undoubtedly a cut above the rest in terms of honesty and work ethic, I seriously question his genuine concern for his clients. I subscribed to a full season of NFL and Basketball packages, and ended up losing a significant sum. I ascribed this to fluctuation, and was willing to ride out the bad streak. I contacted his firm, explained that I wanted to continue but thought I was entitled to some discount or consideration given that his picks buried me over 6-8 months. Any good marketer and customer service person would accept such an offer to continue the relationship. However, Dr Bob apparently had plenty of business and didn’t care much about keeping a client happy nor working with someone to get out of the hole. I cannot recommend this service to anyone based on his poor results and refusal to make a bad experience good for a client.

For one month I was using this service. Usually I choose sports other than baseball but I needed something that could help me be successful in football. The amount of money I invested wasn’t enough to cover the costs. If I do this again I will need a bigger bankroll for this capper. I may continue using this service to see what happens.
