The UHC offered a $5,000 cash prize but more importantly it offered a chance for the top NCAA handicappers to prove their documented football picks were better than the competition.  The rules for this college football handicapping challenge was tough but fair to make sure there were no pretenders in this season long football handicapping contest. Here are the top five handicappers from the previous NCAA seasons.

College Football Contest Rules
All Plays at UHC can be CHANGED up until starting time of each sport. The UHC is a contest and your plays are NOT locked in until the start of each game!

For the UHC NCAA Challenge, NCAA sides and totals are combined into one contest. You have the option of selecting all totals, all sides, or you can mix them up accordingly within the point distribution. The UHC does NOT include the College Bowls at years end. The Winner of each category will WIN $2,500 each at seasons end, courtesy of MVPSportsbook.com, the Official UHC Sportsbook! This is in addition to ALL of the magazine exposure we provide for your service!

***Please Note***….MVPSportsbook.com will pay the winner(s) of EACH UHC Challenge a total of $5,000. Each prize will be a Sports Book Account at MVPSportsbook.com which must be rolled over a minimum of 6 times before being cashed out.
The top ten (10) handicappers will be printed Every Week in Winners Ege. In addition the TOP Handicappers EACH week are plugged on our UHC LIVE SPORTS AUDIO SHOW!!

The standings can always be seen at www.uhchallenge.com, the official website of the UHC. The UHC site will post weekly as well as overall standings, not to mention our Very popular, “Free Picks” page, which we strongly encourage you to utilize.

Each selection must be rated between one(1) and five(5) units. The units represent the strength of the selection and are used to determine the amount of points won or lost each week.

A maximum of up to twenty-seven (27) units can be played each week. This is the maximum but it is not required that your units add up to this amount.

A minimum of ten (10) units MUST be played each week (unless you choose NOT to submit plays for the week and PASS).

Those that enter less than 10 units for the week will automatically go down as a PASS regardless, but, ie, if you submit plays equalling less than 10 units for the week and WIN, those games WILL NOT count towards your score. If you submit plays equalling less than 10 units for the week and LOSE, those games WILL count towards your score. Either way, less than 10 units for the week constitutes a PASS. This is designed to prevent contestants from submitting a game early Saturday morning, then LOSE and not submit another game for the week. Please DO NOT try this as the system will catch you.

The week officially ends with the conclusion of the Monday night game as does the NFL. The UHC results will also be published according to the week ending with the Monday night game.

You may PASS three (3) times during the entire NCAA challenge. More than 3 passes for the season constitutes automatic elimination, NO EXCEPTIONS. Please note that the Bowls are NOT part of the challenge.

Correct selections earn 100 points per unit and Incorrect selections lose 110 points per unit. Games that are tied or pushed earn zero (0) points, regardless of the amount of units. You are NOT able to replay those units that push.

Once the line is given out, it NEVER CHANGES. The Official lines are posted once, usually on Thursday evening for the upcoming weekend. The lines for the week will be posted on the UHC website between between 8:00-9:00 p.m. EST, every Thursday evening. If there is a Thursday game, the lines will be posted at least a day or two in advance as well.

ALL selections can be submitted right up until game time.

Please note that once any UHC Challenge has started, you CANNOT withdraw from the contest. This is strictly to protect the integrity of the UHC. If you wish to drop out of the contest for whatever reason after it has already begun, you must pass for 4 weeks and eliminate yourself. Your record will also remain at the UHC site with the record that you have at the time of elimination.

MVPSportsbook.com lines will be used as the “Official Lines” for each game!

If for any reason you are experiencing technical difficulties with the UHC software and/or the website at www.uhchallenge.com or UltimateHandicappingChallenge.com please email your selections to Support@NationalSportsMonitor.com . If you are not near a pc ONLY IN EMERGENCY you can leave your selections on my office line at 516-883-4550. Although there will not be lines posted on this number, they will be adjusted accordingly. All participants always receive the same lines.

Once you are logged in, you will be able to view ALL other CONTESTANT’s SELECTIONS right at Kickoff! We do not advise that you wait until the last minute to submit your selections as the system will kick you out exactly at gametime.

If for any reason you believe that your score is incorrect, please contact the UHC office at the end of that particular week. Scores will not be changed after a seven (7) day time frame. This applies to all contestants.

If any contestant is caught cheating or trying to abuse or take advantage of any glitch that may unfortunately arise in the uhc software for any reason, they will be disqualified immediately. No questions asked!

The UHC roster is open until the end of week 3 of any sport. This is due to the fact that everyone gets 3 passes and if a service decides that they want to use their first 3 weeks to Pass, they are completely within the rules to do so.
Free Picks Each handicapper has the opportunity to submit one or all of his selections as a FREE PICK that is complimentary to the public. The FREE picks are shown on the FREE PICKS page before the games start at the exact moment the service(s) select them. The best part of this feature is that all FREE PICKS are real actual plays that do count as UHC selections.

We urge you to read over the RULES AND REGULATIONS very carefully.

All decisions made by the UHC will be Final.

No Refunds Given after a play has been submitted or if a service takes a pass in week #1
